Were you just dreaming about a good time coming on your way while lying in the sun and thinking about your next drink or was that just us? If the answer is yes, then your next drink should be a well-prepared Hemingway Daiquiri Cocktail.

It is a well-known thing, Hemingway was deeply in love with a mixture of rum and lime juice. The love affair started back in the days at El Floridita in Cuba. Around a hundred years ago, a famous writer explained to the bartender how he would like his drink to be. No sugar, more Rum, lime juice, Maraschino liqueur, and a splash of grapefruit juice.

The original Hemingway Daiquiri Cocktail was created after he tried the frozen one and asked the bartender to remove sugar and put extra rum. Allegedly, he once drank more than 10 daiquiris but thanks to no sugar in it Hemingway avoided the next day’s hangover.

In his novel, the famous writer describes this cocktail with the next words; “no taste of alcohol and felt, as you drank them, the way downhill glacier skiing feels running through powder snow and, after the sixth and eighth, felt like downhill glacier skiing feels when you are running unroped.”

Our opinion is that there is no dilemma for you anymore. Ask for a Hemingway Daiquiri Cocktail in your favorite bar as soon as possible.
